One does, one doesn't. But even if there was only one user with no
password, shouldn't the welcome screen come up anyway and make me
click the user name?
I never had a user with no password, so I'm not sure what "is normal" for that.
Have you done the simple stuff? Toggle the settings for "use Welcome Screen"
back and forth a couple times? (Re-booting in-between.)
Sometimes Windows just needs a hit "upside the head"... <grin>
