I was reading in this forum (I think) of current users of the moto Q who
have phones which just shut off! Some report being on their third one due
to this issue. You'd think they'd be past such issues by now.

The version of this I see on the verizon page is too much. I can't see
dropping 400 on a phone/pda (which I won't use).

That's what I want - for sure.

:: The 700w is a PDA first and a phone second.

And that's why this would be a waste for me.

 In my area, the 700w

I do think touchscreens are better on small screen devices. What about the
iPhone?  Another $500 device, huh?

 Smartphones do not

I'd rather do this on my UMPC. A phone screen is just too small for any
useful work, IMO.

Plenty good enough.

Perhaps. But I'll probably never use all of the power of a Treo anyway.

It seems to always be a good idea of add the extra storage, as long as it
doesn't add a lot of cost. I just wish it took SD rather than Mini-SD.

 Away you go!!!

That's cool. Suduko?

Well, Verizon doesn't seem to work well at my mom's house in Mississippi!
Imagine them beans!

That's a good idea to use their return policy. I might try this. To get
the rebate, I need to buy the phone online. If i do that, how do I transfer
all of my numbers? There must be a way to move info from my LG phone to my
PC and then out to this Q (assuming I get that)?

::

Interesting.

::
:: Make sure you check out the Treo 700 as well so that you have a more

Verizon doesn't seem to offer one at a competitive price with the Q. I
think price is a serious issue for a phone/pda. I use to buy PDAs...once it
became clear I won't use them, I quit.

I admit though that the iPhone seems cool. :)
