I wanted to make some changes to my Airport Extreme (the -n one) today so I fired up my AirPort Utility which couldn't find my router. Confused, I tried to figure out what was wrong until I realized that the machine I am on connects to it via a wired connection and doesn't have a wireless card installed.
I have been looking through Apple's site and the manuals and they say nothing about being able to connect in via the device's IP or anything other than using the AirPort Utility, which connects wirelessly. Am I missing something or is this a case of Apple dumbing down a product too much? -- Brian
