Minimum purchase is 5 licenses - if you want to buy direct from Symantec.
You can purchase a single copy, even a competative upgrade single copy from
many authorized symantec dealers. There's nothing in symantec's EULA that
dictates you must buy at least 5, that is policy only enforced at the
pleasure of the particular reseller.
