Pretty pitiful. Also the higher end 1GB part, the XTX, appears to be
scrapped until way later to avoid further embarrassment.
Not to stick up for the red, but the 8600 and 8500 kind of blows chunks
too.
Never marketed as a 8800GTX killer, as was expected of red's HD2900. The
sole reason for the 8600/8500's to exist is HD acceleration. HTPC cards at
best.
