New one on me . If pulling the power cord and removing the battery does not work, then you have a problem.
Any laptop I've had do a hard lock up here or at work has always recovered after pulling the battery for a couple minutes unless something was physically broken or damaged. I wonder if you might have to open it up and remove the CMSO battery for a time? >> >>I have a laptop that went into hibernation while "searching for new >>hardware" and I can't get it to wake up.
