[H] (H) problem cloning

I had two mirrored harddrives on a cheap raid card (Bad idea) which failed. I 
was able to 
use one drive (now drive C) and since have added more data to it. Today I 
configured 
the other drive as a slave (now drive D) and would like to update data using 
Ghost 2003 
which fails. I suspect it's because they both have the same volume number. Must 
I 
reformat drive D before cloning? Or is there something I'm missing.
