may be old school thinking but sometimes drives act funny when formatted on 
different controllers. Seems like in the old days this could be a problem but 
was not aware it mattered anymore. Only mention this cause the manual on my new 
mb ( m2n-e ) says something about drives not being detected and setup properly 
if formatted on a different mb. 

clean installs are always best, not planning on doing it this time when I 
change the MB ( activation is enough PITA ) cause the last clean install took 
me 3 days to get back where I wanted it. :-[
