I have a Dell Precision 350 that My Dad bought off Ebay. The O/S is WINXP/PRO SP2. There is no indication that the O/S even knows that there is/was/could be a mouse. Hardware detection comes up empty. No mouse indicated at all in Hardware Mangler.
BIOS is mum w.r.t. mouse. Control Panel/Mouse is empty. Does this mean the PS/2 port is dead? I've tried multiple mice without success. Even USB mice are problematic, although they "sometimes" work. Thanx, Jim
