Zone Alarm 7 is good. Uses Karparski Anti Virus. It can be as annoying, or unobtrusive, as you want it to be, depending on the sophistication of the user. Fully configurable. The only issue I have come up against is that if you have it protecting everything, and automatic updates, and you have a user that turns their PC off when they aren't using it ...then when they boot up ZA is going to update, along with IE, and scan, and check, and the PC is going to slow way down to a unusable state, until it finishes. I tell users to turn it on around thirty to sixty minutes before they use it to let ZA do it's thing.

She made the mistake of putting in the new Norton and HATES it. Even after I told her not to. I hate making steak out of hamburger :-) or maybe I do $$$

any suggestions appreciated cause like I said I have only used these programs in AV only.
