I did not once ever state that there aren't killer apps for 4+ cores. I bought a QC myself for one. On the whole, however, the number of killer apps will remain relatively small, because there are a limited number of tasks that scale effectively to n cores. Today, the vast majority of users--even enthusiast-level users--are served better by fewer, faster cores than more, slower cores. My argument is that the balance likely won't change much for the foreseeable future. Greg
