Understand your position. I've been using the LBA registry patch ever since I bought a pair of 160GB drives 4 months back and found that w2ksp4 only saw them as 128GB! Once I patched the registry I now have 4x 40GB partitions. But, then I have not tried these 160GB drives on my much older 440BX m/b's (still have 2 in use). That is what the promise card may be for........ :)
