Hello, I myself use and recommend the Chenbro RM31212B #U Raid/Server Rack mount case.
http://usa.chenbro.com/corporatesite/products_detail.php?serno=33 Right now I have 2 Dual core Xeons in the system with 12 500GB Hard drives in Raid 5+1 with spare configuration. The only con I can say is get a powerful Power supply if you want to put in more than 12 HD's. I use a 550w atm and it does not want to power up all the HDs on power up sometimes, so I have to reset the computer to get it to see all the hard drives. So, I have this server contained in a 'getting old' Chenbro 4U case. And, I'd like to freshen it up with a new case, if possible. I really do like the RAID cage, the internal air space, and, do not wish to give it up; well, unless you can convince me that it is not really needed! What do you think? The server is w2k server, Intel STL2 m/b, 2x p3-1G and 2x 256MB RAM. (already searching for another pair of 256MB ram dimms.) Thanks, Duncan
