Aside from the viewing angles, I could see that if you are in the graphics business not being able to do full 8-bit color would be a big negative. But that's not a huge issue for me and neither is the viewing angle.
Yeah, that's true. I had a guy come in looking for a professional photo editing monitor, and I did some research and found one for around $1800 - then it turned out he wanted to spend about $1000 for the computer with the monitor. <grin> Oh well.
