I have a w2ksp4 machine that has managed to delete its' old default system generated desktop icon for the Internet Explorer (6.0). I can not find it anywhere! No, it is not hidden underneath another icon. Played icon shuffle last night.
The bug is that if I explore to the actual app file and create another shortcut, it does not have the right properties when I right click on the shortcut. Same,
when I copy the IE icon from the Program Files directory. I have used tweakui to rebuild but no soap. Is there any way to recreate this 'special' icon? Can do registry fix, but do not know where to begin........... :) Thanks, Duncan
