AFAIK the macbook may not support 4GB? Or was that the Mac Mini.
Either way, Macbook memory = standard PC memory. Just get a corsair valueselect (like I did) and do the uprgrade yourself. It's pretty idiot proof and trust me you'll feel a huge difference from 1 gb to 2 or 4 gb!
