Could be worse, draconian protections in Crysis prevents it from running if SysInternals Process Explorer has been run & exited prior to running crysis. Worse it terminates with a cryptic error message that does not give any clue as to the problem!
On the re-activation thing, a simple failing memory module caused me to redo activation on the road a few years back. Funny thing, I just built my new box & swapped my old HDD into it which of course forced re-activation. Cool thing is it just re-activated without any complaints assuming it because I have a MSDN license. I have a phone recording app that I can't even restore a backup image without it requiring reactivation.
