So, Bro's choice is a "Viera?" I have not kept up with "trade names."
I Am a Pioneer Elite sorta person. Only because I OWN one now.
Not, because I can drop 6Large on my LAST TV. But,............. :)
I'm open to opinion.......I'm no dead yet.
My current choice has trouble. I can spend ~$500 to try and baseline it again.
If not, it is toast and I look for a replacement....
Yes, Pioneer is my first source. Happy to know that they kept the drive
strong
all of these years.
TNX for the link. I did misplace it. I will go and dredge it for all it is
worth.
I no longer need the best. But, I refuse to believe I can not have the best.
Whatever "the best" might be.
Thanks John. I also really like anything Samsung. One day, I might even
own something with that brand name............... :)
Best,
Duncan

Viera's are good, but Pioneer Elite Kuro's are arguably the best
plasmas to be had, but then again, they do cost 4-5-6 grand. :)
I spent weeks reading on the AVS forum,
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/index.php .
Bought a nice 50 inch Samsung last weekend. Not as good on blacks as
the Panny, but better color by most all reports
from the calibrators on the forum. :)

Says it is "i" and "p" capable.
Looking for opinions?????????????
(to share)
I will be back later.......
I do not mind Panasonic.
But, I am more of a Pioneer Elite kind of sort; because I have a
55in Pioneer analog rpg ATM.
I dream of something in the 60in. realm.
Duh. Two questions. Bummer............... :)
Thank you.

Duncan
