IF you have not added any plug-ins or add-ins yet that would block them from working, --- just browse around and FF will ask to install what you need as it sees it needs it. IF you are already running "NoScript" or something designed to "controll" this type of thing, you need to learn how to "controll the controller"...
I don't think FF "just sees" anything you had from IE... But I never looked into it too closely... If you try this: http://secunia.com/software_inspector/ it will generally tell you the state of some of your browser "stuff", and lots more. (I only send you there. You have to "deal" with the results of their scan yourself...) It is not a "new user friendly" type of place... (Think level 300 or 400...) Rick Glazier From: "DHSinclair"
OK. I have FF v3.0.1 installed on XP. It will not yet allow the use of Java. Does not even see that the latest Java RE is installed (again!) Where do I go to tell FF to use the Java RE I have installed? I've been thru 'tools' til blindness............... :)
