When/why did pin 20 (across from the key) get plugged on the 34-pin
eide/pata cable? Also carefully watching the pin 1/red stripe orientation. ;)

The BX6r2 does have pin 20 in place at both EIDE m/b connectors.
I am now looking thru the cable pile for eide cables that do NOT
have a plug at pin 20.
It is down to pata cables, or, this old machine just can not deal
with the Seagate 160GB drive................ ?
Thank you,
Duncan
