Subject: [H] Laptop bag recommendations

I'm looking for a new laptop bag that would also serve duty as my airplane
carry-on. I have a Targus CityGear Los Angeles
<http://www.amazon.com/Targus-TCG417-CityGear-Angeles-Notebook/dp/B00024ENES
/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1227448989&sr=1-5>that
I both like and dislike. I love the way it is organized and the durability
of the workmanship. I dislike the size (it's too big) and the gaudy yellow
logos and handle pulls which really stand out in a business setting. So I'm
on a hunt for the perfect replacement (if that's possible).

Here's my wishlist:

1) Needs to be professional enough to wear with a suit (so no pink or
flashing lights) but I don't want some Gucci thing that just looks
ostentatious

2) Compact size but still big enough to hold all the stuff I need:
 - laptop (which will soon by a Lenovo X200 Tablet) along with charger and
accessories
- notebad and a few pens/markers and laser pointer
- occasional book
- headphones, glasses case and the cords and other odds and ends I need.
The Targus came with a very good mesh bag that was perfectly make for
storing cords/cables (long/thin made from mesh with a zipper and detachable
from bag with velcro).

3) Preferably messenger style, but anything with a comfy shoulder strap is
fine.

4) Durable enough for every day use and lots of travel (I average one trip a
month overseas).

Suggestions? Is my desire for an everyday bag/carry on and something that
could be taken to a business meeting not doable?

--------
Brian
