Indeed, it looks like Win2k isn't supported in any capacity. Even going as far back as the Catalyst 7.11 release, only the following operating systems are supported per the release notes:
Windows Vista (32 and 64 bit versions) Windows XP Professional Windows XP Home Edition Windows XP Media Center Edition Windows XP Professional x64 Edition Interestingly, the latest Catalyst for Win2k appears to be 6.5--which by far predates the 3xxx series. Not much on the nvidia side either...looks like the 7000 series was the last to support Win2k. Time to upgrade, finally? *nudge nudge* :) Greg > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:hardware- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of James Boswell > Sent: Wednesday, December 03, 2008 7:02 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [H] ATI 3450--Need Help! > > um, ATI.com doesn't appear to _have_ drivers for Windows 2000 for the > 3450 ? > > On 4 Dec 2008, at 00:48:300, DHSinclair wrote: > > > OK, my new MSI ATI Radeon 3450 arrived today. > > > > I did remove my test Matrox PCI G200 per proper removal.
