I was looking for a usb 2.0 hub a couple weeks back and settled for this 7
port Belkin since it's powered (5V / 3.8mA)

despite the negative reviews, i can't say i have had any issues with it. then
again, the hub is placed on a desk and not on top of anything warm/hot.
