Thanks. I'm sure that I "run" flash apps in background, but I'll accept that "they" happen because many sites that I visit require flash now or the page is not viewable or navigable. I allow flash with FF, but disable flash with IE6sp1.
I have un-installed Adobe AIR on my current "test" machine to see what happens.
Yes, I know I should be processing my dot-pdf business with something other than AdobeReader, but I just have not yet cut that umbilical cord yet!
