I am trying to figure out whether my machines have MS08-067 installed.
I think so, but I can not be sure.
When MS posts their file specs, do they use UTC or local PST for the
date/time stamps
of their files? The file in question is:
w2k - Netapi32.dll v5.0.2195.7203 310,032bytes
XP - Netapi32.dll v5.0.2600.5694 337,408bytes (4 listed; I have this one!)
If UTC, then I think my XP machines are OK. They all show "15OCT08
12:34", with MS showing "15OCT08 16:34."
But, my server may be dorked! It (w2kproSP4) shows "17OCT08 13:46", but
MS shows "18OCT08 03:11."
And, I find that I can NOT get to MS Update; AND I found that the BITS
service was STOPPED.
Yes, I am chasing/locking down for this Conficker.C/D worm................
Suggestions? Ideas?
