I'm looking for some advice on starting prices on EBay. I originally
wanted to keep it around the house and use it as a data store for my
network, but my wife has veto'd the idea, saying the server is too loud.
So I'm looking to sell it but I'm not sure if I should piece it out and
sell it that way on ebay, or just put it up as the server itself.
What do you guys think?
SuperMicro X5DP8-G2 mobo
1GB ECC memory (didn't check speed)
2x P4 Xeon 2.4GHz dual core processor (4 Processors)
Redundant Power Supply
It has the Zero Channel Raid controller installed and 2x 5 disk hotswap
raid bays.
The drives in it are expired warranty Seagate Cheetah 10K.7 300GB 10,000
RPM Model ST3300007LC
Any advice on how to try to sell this for an optimal amount? I plan on
getting a self enclosed network drive to replace it (GBit network) and a
small GBit switch. So any advice on which of those to get as well would
be nice.
Uh, I guess if someone is interested in it you can backchannel me so we
don't clutter up the list with that type of chatter.

and... [kisses Peter]
Peter Griffin: Son, I am going to stand up, walk out of this room, and
we are never to speak of this again.
