I have some WIN2k SP4 and WINXP SP2 systems where my DOS program works
perfectly fine after it opens in Full Screen, but in WINXP SP3, the
program displays fine, but ordinary (single alphanumeric) keyboard
entry is unresponsive.
WINDOWS' CTRL+KEY and ALT+KEY combinations DO work, however.
I'm baffled. Any suggestions?
Thanx,
Jim
After much searching, it was Speedfan, ver 4.37 that was hijacking the
keyboard. I also tried Speedfan v 4.38 and it also hijacked the keyboard
from my DOS apps. Speedfan uses the GIVIO service and I'm thinking that
GIVIO is the real culprit.
Anyway, I can't afford to use Speedfan anymore.
I hope this info will be helpful to others.
