I gave away my 6600GT last Summer to a co-worker with the most dreadful AGP gaming box you could possibly believe (well, maybe). I bought that card several years ago for the same price my current 4850 cost me last fall and I was happy to help the guy out. It was a pleasure to help him as he was such a computer novice that the antique race game he was obsessed with fed his obsession with NASCAR and the 19" 1280X1024 LCD which I sold him. A newly wed and pregnant wife buying a house he did the best he could and I was happy to give him a leg up. Oh yeah, sorry to hear that a 4650 won't beat a 6600GT but considering it's long obsolete I'm not surprised. Lesson learned. A 4770 is almost as good as a 4850 and will OC like a beotch so that's probably a good purchase IMHO.

Well I was bummed to find that a 4650 w/ 1GB will not beat a 6600GT with 512

I thought that I would get quite a bit of performance, 77 FPS versus 71 FPS

I guess I'm now looking for something a bit better for around 100 bucks or
so.

Will a 4770 be a lot better??
