Ah games, now I understand. I've been playing Halo since my last
message. As old as it is I still have a blast with it. :)

It's the only good Windows box I have left, the other machines are
Macs now, except for the older Dell D600 and IBM T41 laptop I keep
around for loading and playing with Linux and such..
It's a couple generations old but still has an Intel 975 Badaxe mobo,
Intel core 2 Duo 2.6 gig CPU, nVidia 8800GTS, 2 gigs of RAM, 150 gig
10K VelociRaptor Boot drive, and 2 WD 500 gig data drives. So it does
OK for me and the stuff I still do in Windows... :)
Just not ready to delete XP Pro yet and go to a Vista/Win 7 dual
boot. :)
All my games play really great on the XP partition.. :)

I'm curious, why do you keep XP on the same box?

Oh and BTW, I am gonna 'upgrade' the Vista side of the dual boot and
leave the XP intact even though it is much
older than Vista.. :)

Thanx for the heads up. :)
Just got my Win 7 upgrade package ordered for the half price
special even though it's not Friday here yet. :)

There's supposed to be only a limited number and if true will sell
out quickly. Pre-order now and get the DVDRom when it ships
October 22. It's really a good deal but I'm going to stick with
Vista until SR1 comes out next year.
