Stan,
It appears that my OLD machine chooses to display NONE of its previous RESTORE points.
I do know how to kill them.
Perhaps this machine is just sorely confused. (?)
Knowing its' history, it is lucky to even being plugged it!!!!
Thank you for the tweak. I did find it.
I never used it B4.
I will NOW!
Best,
Duncan

Duncan, there is a utility called CCleaner that has an option in "tools" -> "system restore" where you can delete old restore points that are no longer valuable.

Well, that might really suck, ATM.
I do not use a "standby disk."

I suppose I really need to just do the time honored
"Shut Restore OFF", ReBoot, and just start all over again........ :)
This I can do because I suspect that these is zero in any previous "restores" that I really care for....ATM......?
Best,
Duncan

Am I correct that whenever I REBOOT XP,
I create a brand NEW RESTORE POINT?????????

Yes, I do allow System Restore to play.
I do NOT allow the XP FireWall.
I use ESET B.E. A/V.
Thank You,
Duncan
