Btw, since there was an old games thread on the list, I thought I'd send
this along. There are insane daily deals, but the overall discounts are
nuts. You can pick up complete sets of old games for literally a dollar
each in some cases!

Holy mother of.. Steam (the online PC game store/service) is having the
biggest sale I've ever seen. It runs until January 3, 2010, but there are
daily sales as well. Nearly the entire store is discounted, with some titles
going for $10, $5, or even $2. The number of sale items is well into in the
hundreds, and includes everything from blockbusters to indies (which you
should support). I can't even begin to list the many ones that you should
really really buy. Look around and I'm sure you'll find some gems, many
selling for basically lunch money.
