I bought this Ninja over 2 years ago. The same cooler today comes with the kit standard. The kit I'm buying is for those of us who got the older hardware.

Same thing with the Zalman cooler I have in my office machine (which I bought 2 years go and the revision cooler comes with different hardware to support newer processors and better attachment methods). Difference there is I just wrote them asking for the parts and they are sending them to me for free.
