Power supply calculators are almost universally wrong--enough that I don't
bother anymore. I've never seen a system near what they estimate, even under
load. 


The S12 is their high quality mainstream series, and M12 is similar, but
modular. The X Gold series is 90% efficient--80PLUS Gold Certified. It
currently represents their top tier, but they haven't released a 90%
efficient unit over 750 watts (yet).
