[H] eudora in windows 7 ?

[FORC5]

copied Eudora over the network to my windows 7 box but when I run it 
it tells me it can not update the registry to make it default mail client.

would I actually have to do a install ?
went to custom program access but see no way to add it, must be a way 
to manually put it in the registry.
