connects my bench systems to the main router WIFY. No need to install WIFY cards in each box, just plug into the AP/bridge. Can also be used to connect xboxes and such according to the data sheet. Guess u could call it a remote router of sorts but ip's are asigned from the primary router. My old shop was hard wired but my new place the shop is detached and this seemed easier then digging and running wire, even though that was my plan eventually, Bridge was only supposed to be a temp thing but I am getting 5+MBPS down from the bridge and 18+ at the main router. Son's room is still a USB WIFY adapter. He is over 18 :-D Until the new house was not allowed. College next year, if I can not trust him now, when 8-)
