Bluray is an entirely different CODEC (using VC1 or 264) different Audio CODECS 
(LPCM/DTSHD/DDHD)... Different disc structure.  BD is as different from dvd as 
dvd is different from VideoCD.

It's only accurate if anything in disc form that contains a movie  
shall be called DVD.

Look up Bluray on Wikipedia for the differences.
