[H] $1700 Laptop

I have just been offered a laptop up to (including shipping and taxes) 
$1700.

I probably need a tablet.  I have a Dell tablet which has been an 
expensive nightmare.

Anyone have a recommendation?

If not a tablet, which?

Will need to crunch videos using Camtasia 7.0.
