After 2 yrs of use, I think I am now ready to dump Oracle Java from
my machine's use. I just visited the Oracle site saw lots of 'help' if
I am
a business who programs and uses a Java based OS. What I did NOT see
was anything about us 'JRE' users; yes, free users................. :)
Did I miss something?
I noticed that for the past 3 updates (now using v7upd11) Java has
disabled the icon that used to live on the Control Panel. I can update
Java
whenever Oracle tells me about an update, but I can NOT get any detailed
info
about the update post install.
Hell, I am now confused about what I may loose post deletionof Java !!
