[H] Panasonic Vera SD card video codec

I have had a Panasonic Vera Plasma TV for 3 years now. The SD card 
slot is suppose to support pictures ( it does) and video = mpeg-2 but 
it doesn't. Apparently there is some secret mpeg-2 codec that only 
Panasonic knows about . When I put mpeg 1 or 2, avi, or any generic 
video file... like recorded on my phone... it doesn't even see the 
video file. Does anybody know why... does anybody own a Vera with the 
same issue?
