Definitely an opinion--that board won't work. :) The 4930k will use socket LGA2011, which will require an X79 motherboard, not Z77.
My P9X79 WS has been great. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131798 My brother tried two different X79 boards (ASRock, Gigabyte) and had problems until switching to the Asus P9X79. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Winterlight Sent: Friday, August 16, 2013 3:22 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [H] Need a network guru thanks but it didn't make a difference. I think I am going to buy another better model on Ebay which should let me know for sure if it is the device or my network. What this really needs is a hardware reset button in place of the software reset. I think if it had that I could get it working again. BTW Greg, any opinion a ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131821 for my upcoming 4930k build?
