You can determine if multiple point to point links are better, or a point to multi point is better. In my opinion, I would use 5GHz for the inter building shots, and 2.4GHz within the buildings. 5GHz, no antenna: http://store.netgate.com/Ubiquiti-Rocket-M5-5GHz-80211N-MIMO-PtP-PtMP-P288C139.aspx Look here at antenna options: http://www.l-com.com/wireless-antenna-58-ghz-wifi-antennas 5GHz with built in antenna: http://store.netgate.com/Ubiquiti-NanoStation-M5-5GHz-Hi-Power-2x2-MIMO-AirMax-Station-P240C139.aspx 5GHz with built in highly directional antenna: http://store.netgate.com/Ubiquiti-NanoBridge-M-Series-5-GHz-22-dBi-Dual-Polarity-P1025C43.aspx and slightly higher gain http://store.netgate.com/Ubiquiti-NanoBridge-M-Series-5-GHz-25-dBi-Dual-Polarity-P1658C43.aspx 2.4GHz APs for use with in the buildings: http://store.netgate.com/Ubiquiti-UniFi-Long-Range-Three-Pack-P1728C139.aspx -Harry On 9/9/13 5:34 AM, Christopher Fisk wrote: > Hey collective, > > I'm looking to get wireless working on my mother in law's farm between > barns and houses and workshops.
