My son's laptop took a dumb in video, screen jumbled even on external
monitor so I assume bad MB. I can get a MB for $80 but wonder about
licensing renewal ? Will not boot even jumbled even to a recent full
drive clone prior to bug.
what is iDrac7 ?
I assume w7 re activation even though Dell installs usually never ask for that.
New bigger better laptop on order but if I can get this running for
$80 be a OK backup. Only 3 years old. Just put in a SSD and maxed out memory.
Looks like a lot of work but I think I can handle it.
is a studio 1747, was expensive 3 years ago.
