Yes, Windows 8 uses NTFS as its primary file system (with a few interesting enhancements for reliability over Win7). It also supports FAT, FAT32 and exFAT, just like Windows 7 does.
Windows Server 2012 support a new file system (ReFS) for storage drives, but it hasn't trickled down to the client OS yet.
