OK. Accept 'built in.' Because you mention protection from malware, I
will accept it and live with it. My chosen AV sw is ESET, but I do not use
their big 'security suitesw.' I just use their NOD32 AV program.
I will save your link. I'm sure my family will ask me this question in the future! LOL!

You can not unistall it but you can disable it, see
