If you use a PATA to SATA convertor to run a SATA drive in a PATA 
USB2 external drive, are you still restricted to  the PATA 
controllers size limitation?
i.e. can you put a TB SATA drive on a USB2 PATA >>SATA  external 
drive?  Has anybody tried this?
