Thanks for the link. One system did get updated to Win10 manually. I had thought that it had been trashed entirely, despite being a fully validated system, it claimed that it was not activated and asked for a key, when I skipped that, it told me that I had to run the setup from within windows, so reboot, but it had already trashed the Win7 install. This morning, however, it did go to completion. I *think* it's activated and I have to do updates now, which I'll get to after work. Then I'll have to see to my main system.
