I switched over from a 5820K to a Ryzen 1800. Thoughts so far:
Likes:
* What I do (not gaming) is improved. Especially video work.
* Very snappy in Windows 7.
* I switched to an M2 NVE from M2 SATA, went with the 950 Pro. Very
happy
Dislike:
* Driver base still needs work
* Gaming performance needs work
* Dislike that I'm limited to 64GB RAM. That's the biggest drawback

Very nice. Still running an i7 920 on a Gigabyte GA-x58-UD3R that
replaced (quickly) an EVGA FTW3. Having issues with this board and
have been looking at upgrades. Been out of the loop lately and don't
really know what's out there. Will check this out. Looking for a
quick and easy (fairly inexpensive) upgrade.
