Love UniFi. Have used for a few years, their product continues to
improve... but their AC units are spectacular.

I've had my fill of home-grade wireless gear. I would suggest going
Ubiquiti
UniFi for wifi, and use a dedicated device for a router.

Subject: [H] Netgear X10 router
I am moving into a new home next week. My existing wireless router is
at
least 7 years old so it is time for a major upgrade. My old home is a
dead
zone and, wireless of any kind has never worked well beyond line of
site,
and for very short distances. My new home is in an entirely different
state
and, has great wireless. Good enough to support flawless HD streaming
at a
distance which I did not know was possible.
I am thinking of going all out with a NETGEAR R9000 Nighthawk X10
AD7200 Quad-Stream MU-MIMO Wireless Router

It is very expensive but, I will not have to wire the house in CAT6
or,
coaxial which would be a lot more time, money and, hassle. This router
comes
with a <10G Lan SFP+ port for fast NAS access> . Would I even have a
use for
this in a single user home LAN. Comments and, warnings appreciated.
