Well so since it seems the list isn't dead, figured I could ask here...
I have an older Drobo FS that I got from a friend (old network attached storage
model). I had it off for a while while I was redoing my cabinet and went to
power it on and nothing. Zero, zip, zilch no matter what outlet I try to use.
So I'm wondering if it's the enclosure or the power supply and replacement PS
are $50-70 online and that seems a waste if it's the enclosure, so any
thoughts? Anyone have a spare Drobo PS lying around they wouldn't mind sending
me?
And if I was to replace it, what would be the best recommended replacement? I
assume since it's a Drobo proprietary FS I wouldn't be able to transfer the
drives to a regular RAID backup so I'd lose whatever was on them huh? Hmmmm,
that's not so good...
Thoughts?
