POE is the key - if you have a POE switch, all you need to run is CAT 5 or 6 to the locations where you want to have an AP. It doesn’t need to have an electrical outlet.
I have two AC-Pros in my house (one in the roof and one in the basement) that both go back to the same switch and it works beautifully.
